Bollywood actress did posed on the red carpet along with her husband actor Abhishek Bachchan as they arrived for the screening of the film "Chun feng chen zui de ye wan" (Spring Fever), at the 62nd Cannes Film Festival on May 14, 2009. There were twenty films did compete for the prestigious Palme d'Or which will be decided on May 24. Now there are news that he movie “The White Ribbon,” directed by the Austrian director Michael Haneke did won the Cannes Film Festival’s top award, the Palme d’Or, during a televised red-carpet ceremony.
While there are rumors that the actress and L'Oreal products ambassador Aishwarya Rai may have held back Sonam Kapoor from walking the Cannes red carpet.
